Insurance We Accept at Dr. Joseph J. Estrada Optometry

Insurance can feel confusing, especially when you are not sure what is covered or how it applies to your appointment. At Dr. Joseph J. Estrada Optometry, you are not expected to figure it out on your own.

No Insurance? You Still Have Options

¿No tiene seguro? Aún tiene opciones

You should not have to delay care because of coverage concerns.

If you do not have insurance, we offer flexible options to help make your appointment more manageable, including financing through CareCredit. Our team can explain how these options work so you can choose what fits your situation.

Medical Plans We Accept

Medical insurance is used when your eye care involves a health condition or medical concern. This includes visits related to symptoms, diagnosis, or ongoing management of eye conditions.

Medical insurance typically applies to:

  • Eye infections or inflammation
  • Eye pain or sudden vision changes
  • Diabetic eye exams and disease management
  • Glaucoma, macular degeneration, or other conditions

If you are experiencing symptoms or managing a medical condition, your visit will likely be billed through your medical insurance.

Vision Plans We Accept

Vision insurance is used for routine eye care and vision correction. This includes services that help you see clearly and maintain your prescription.

Vision plans typically cover:

  • Routine eye exams
  • Glasses and prescription lenses
  • Contact lens exams and fittings

If you are coming in for an annual exam or updating your prescription, your vision plan will usually apply.
